Quinoa with Chinese Vegetables

Rince quinoa well to get rid of the bitterness using a mesh sieve, then place quinoa and the 2 cups of water in a small pot and bring to boil. Then lower heat to low cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

When the quinoa is ready drain again in the mesh sieve to get rid of any water, you don’t want a soggy dish .Then place in pot again and let rest.

In a pan place the olive oil, garlic,ginger, soy sauce, and vegetables. Cook on medium-low heat till your vegetables are cooked. Add cooked quinoa to vegetable and stir till they are all warmed up and serve.


  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 2 cups water
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 500 grams Chinese mixed vegetables (or any kind of vegetables you like)
