Spiced paste, to prepare meats in “adobo”, grilled meat, roasted chicken and “cochinita pibil”.

Annatto (Achiote) is an orange-red condiment and food colouring derived from the seeds of the achiote tree, native to tropical regions from Mexico to Brazil. It is often used to impart a yellow or orange color to foods, but sometimes also for its flavor and aroma.

Ingredients: water, corn starch, “achiote” seeds, salt, garlic, spices, acetic acid and sodium benzoate as preservatives.
