Pecan and Chocolate chip coookies

1 cup cold butter (cut into small cubes)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups Flour all purpose
1 teaspoon cornstarch
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups  Chocolate Chips
2 cups Pecans (chopped)


  1. Preheat oven to 200 celsius . In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and sugar until light and fluffy. Scrape the sides of the bowl.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla and mix for 1 minute longer. 
  3. Fold in all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans. 
  4. Roll cookie dough into balls (depending on how large you like your cookies) and place them evenly spaced on your prepared cookie sheets. (alternately, use a small cookie scoop to make your cookies). Bake for 9-12 minutes or until light golden brown on the outside. Remove from the oven and let sit for at least 10 minutes to allow the cookies cool.
