1 cup cold butter (cut into small cubes)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups Flour all purpose
1 teaspoon cornstarch
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups Chocolate Chips
2 cups Pecans (chopped)
- Preheat oven to 200 celsius . In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and sugar until light and fluffy. Scrape the sides of the bowl.
- Add eggs and vanilla and mix for 1 minute longer.
- Fold in all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans.
- Roll cookie dough into balls (depending on how large you like your cookies) and place them evenly spaced on your prepared cookie sheets. (alternately, use a small cookie scoop to make your cookies). Bake for 9-12 minutes or until light golden brown on the outside. Remove from the oven and let sit for at least 10 minutes to allow the cookies cool.
